TmaxSoft Signs Partnership to Serve Technology Market in Greece & Cyprus

We have signed Athens-based Syntax IT as a Value Added Reseller (VAR).

Under the terms of the agreement Syntax IT will deliver Tibero, TmaxSoft’s relational database management solution in the region. This is the latest agreement to be signed as a result of our proactive channel expansion programme throughout EMEA.

Syntax IT serves large organizations across Greece, Cyprus and the Arabian Gulf. As a member of the Royal Diamond Group U.A.E. Group, the business focuses on enabling business growth and development through combining state-of-the-art software with best practice IT management.

Syntax IT will act as a reseller of TmaxSoft Tibero, an enterprise relational database designed from its inception to facilitate efficient and flexible integration of data and business logic, as well as providing various database management utilities.

We’ve been hearing from businesses all across Europe looking for better value, higher quality software. The hold that vendors such as Oracle have over the region has left many organizations with little choice when looking for competitive technology. Users continue to pay excessively to avoid ‘under-licensed’ situations, without much opportunity to choose more cost-effective software suppliers.

This has therefore restricted the opportunities for European channel businesses to create strong profit margins and keep their customer bases happy. We have proven in other markets that we are a viable competitor to Oracle, and can provide better pricing models and margins for our partners to drive incrementally higher revenue selling our products. It also differentiates them from competitors by giving them a solution that can compete and is compatible with Oracle databases.
