Service Oriented Architecture is a system architecture that separates IT resources into distinct, function-oriented services, providing flexibility and extendibility to the lifecycle of business processes. - Overview: Within KT's previous system architecture, applications were tightly integrated with one another, meaning that creating new logic flows was a difficult, time consuming, and programming-dependent task. KT decided to adopt the ProBus ESB to implement a system of discrete services that could be manipulated to generate new logic flows.
