Mr. Jongwook Lee 
Chief Executive Officer, TmaxSoft Co., Ltd.

Jongwook Lee joined TmaxSoft in April of 2010 as the CEO. He is in charge of all global and domestic TmaxSoft operations. Mr. Lee has a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, and strategic planning, and has demonstrated his organizational management and problem-solving abilities in non-IT fields and governmental agencies as well as in the IT industry.

Mr. Lee received a master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Texas State University. During his more than 20 year career, Mr. Lee has worked in a number of positions, including as the director of the SI business for the SOC/public sector at Samsung SDS, the head of the Software Industry Promotion Division at the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, the director of the Corporate Business Division at LG Telecom, the director of the SI and ITO Division at CJ Systems, and the CEO of Black Stone Resort.

Mr. Lee will utilize his professional knowledge and experience in IT and at multinational companies to boost TmaxSoft’s sales and increase the company’s international focus.

Byoung Sik (BJ) Jang 
President/CEO, TmaxSoft Inc.

Mr. Jang was appointed as the President/CEO of TmaxSoft Inc. in August, 2010. He is in charge of all TmaxSoft operations in North America.

Mr. Jang started his career with IBM marketing. Throughout his business career, he has worked to deliver advanced IT and communications technology solutions to various industry segments, participating in many leading-edge technology projects including Korean Air’s worldwide airline reservation system, government networking and database systems, postal banking system, geographic information systems, Globalstar’s low-earth orbit satellite communication system, and the converged mobile solutions platforms based on wireless data communications.

After IBM, he worked for Hyundai Electronics America as a strategic business development officer in a multi-national corporate environment, and managed Cyberlane, Inc. and AnyData USA which were US-based R&D companies for mobile user solutions platforms.

Most times, he worked successfully in cooperation with many world-leading companies to deploy the advanced technologies of those days, or to implement the solutions under a complex environment with multiple global partners’ involvement.

Mr. Jang acquired his master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Telecommunications at the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA and his bachelor’s degree from the Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea.

Daeyeon Park, PhD
Founder and CTO, TmaxSoft

Dr. Park founded TmaxSoft in June of 1997. Over the past ten years, Dr. Park has been involved in every aspect of product creation at TmaxSoft, from the development of JEUS, TmaxSoft's web application server, to ProFrame, TmaxSoft's SOA-based application framework solution.

While serving as the CTO of TmaxSoft, Dr. Park continued to work as a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), the premier Korean technology research institute. In March 2007, with TmaxSoft experiencing unprecedented growth, Dr. Park decided to step down from his position at KAIST and concentrate his efforts on research and management at TmaxSoft.

Dr. Park has received numerous awards from the Korean government, acknowledging his substantial contributions to the Korean software industry. These awards include the Silver Tower Industry Medal of Honor (2005), the Ministry of Science and Technology Award (2005), the Prime Minister's Award (1999), and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Award (1998).

Dr. Park earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Southern California. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees, also in Computer Science, from the University of Oregon.

Uri Park
Vice President of Human Resources & Finance, TmaxSoft Inc.

Ms. Park joined TmaxSoft Inc. as the Vice President of HR & Finance in August of 2007 after ten years at TmaxSoft Co., Ltd. While at TmaxSoft Co., Ltd., Ms. Park distinguished herself as a manager in the areas of Global Human Resources & Finance, R&D Administration, and as the Human Resources Manager / Director of General Corporate Affairs.

Ms. Park received a bachelor’s degree in Law from Ewha Women's University in Seoul, South Korea.
